The week of December 2nd

Monday: Music with Miss Abraham. Letter N Beginning: napkin, necklace, necktie, nest, net, newspaper, nickel, nightgown, noodles, numbers, nutcracker, nuts. We will make an advent bell to count down the days to Christmas Tuesday: Gym we will play with the scooters. Letter N Ending: nine, green, hen, wren, dragon, onion, can, fan, man, lion, bean, spoon, train, tin, moon. We will learn about Mexico and the Legend of the Poinsettia. Wednesday: Memory. Spanish. Computers. Letter L Beginning: lace, ladder, ladle, ladybug, lamb, lamp, lantern, leaf, leash, lemon, letter, lettuce, lid, lime, lion, lizard, lobster, lock, locket, log. We will learn that Brazil will put manger scenes in most rooms of their homes. We will make a manger scene. Thursday: Chapel. Library. Art with Mr. M. Lette r L Ending: spool, tool, stool, rule, pail, handle, ladle, saddle, small, little, pool, turtle, fall, wall, tall. We will learn about Sweden and how they celebrate St. Lucia’s Day. We will make a wreath today. Friday: Memory. Spanish. We will read “A Hat” book to Mr. Garcia’s class. We will learn that in Belgium St. Nicholas brings the children gifts. We will make Santa Face Masks. Wednesday’s Memory: Come see the Baby lying in the manger, His name is Jesus; He’s God’s own Son Friday’s Memory: This little baby boy will be our Savior, He is the Christ the Anointed One.

Harvest Party

The Week of November 4th

Daily Events Wednesday’s Memory: Rejoice in the Lord always; again I will say, rejoice. Philippians 4:4 Friday’s Memory: I will be glad and exult You. Psalm 9:2 Monday: Music with Miss Abraham. Short A beginning: acrobat, alligator, anchor, ant, apple, astronaut, avocado, ax. We will make a book about Michigan Native Americans. Tuesday: Gym, we will learn a game the Native Americans used to play in the gym. Short A anywhere: acrobat, album, alligator, ant, apple, astronaut, avocado, ax, hat, cat, mat, rat, ham, ram, hand, fan, pan, jam, bat, black. We will finish the Michigan Native American book. Wednesday: Memory. Spanish. Computers. We will be writing words with the short a in them. We will learn when the Native Americans dress up in costumes. We will make headdresses and necklaces today. Thursday: Chapel. Library. Art with Mr. M. Letter P Ending: cap, wipe, hip, trip, ship, cup, sap, sheep, pop, mop. We will make a mountain scene and learn about living there. We will make a bowl out of bark (paper). We will make a page for our photo books too. Friday: Memory. Spanish. We will read “Flowers” book to Mr. Garcia’s class. We will learn about different instruments they had. We will make a drum.
