The Week of November 9th

 

Student of the Week:  Foster

Wednesday’s Memory:  Individual parts on the back.

Friday’s Memory: But God had the perfect plan! 

Monday:  Chapel.  We will be making a teepee today. 

Tuesday:  Gym.  Computers.  AIMS Testing today.  We will make necklaces today. 

 Wednesday:  Memory.  Computers.  We will learn why the Pilgrims came to America and how they traveled to America.  We will make a Mayflower!  Then we will see how we travel across the ocean.  PTO meeting at 6:00.

 Thursday: Chapel. Gym.  Library.  AIMS Testing today. Letter H beginning:  hammer, handkerchief, handle, hanger, harmonica, hat, hay, heart, helicopter, hen, hippopotamus, holly, honey, hoop, horn, horse, hot dog, house. We will see what the Pilgrim clothes looked like.

 Friday:  Memory.  Art.   We will read the book “We Go” today.  We will talk about the differences between our houses and their homes.

Brooklyn:  Nine months before God’s plan was presented,

Abby:  God sent his angel to a virgin named Mary to tell her that she would be the special mother of the Savior.

Alex:  “You will be with child and give birth to a son, “

Brooks:  “and you are to give him the name Jesus!”

Ally:  “He will be great and will be call the Son of the Most High!”  Luke 1:31 and 32

Perry:  Just days before God unveiled His plan;

Flynn:  Caesar Augustus issued a degree that all the people were to go to their home towns to register.

Grant:  That meant Mary and Joseph had to make the seventy mile trip from Nazareth to Bethlehem.

Ella:  Just has God had planned.

Foster:  “In those days Caesar Augustus issued a decree:”

Josiah:  “a census should be taken of the entire roman world. 

Lennon:  this was the first census that took place while Quirinius was governor of Syria. 

Greta:  And everyone went to his own town to register. 

Savannah:  “So Joseph also went up from the town of Nazareth in Galilee to Judea

Levi:  To Bethlehem the town of David,

Owen:  Because he belonged to the house and line of David. 

Taylor:  He went there to register with Mary, who was pledged to be married to him and was expecting a child.  Luke 2:1 through 5

Ava:  Even the crowded inn, the manger bed, and swaddling clothes were part of the plan. 

Colton:  While they were there, the time came for the baby to be born, and she gave birth to her first born, a son. 

Parker:  She wrapped Him in cloths and placed him in a manger, because there was no room for them in the inn.  Luke 2: 6 and 7
