Duck's Visit

 We had surprises visitors today from the Marlette’s. Thank you for bringing in the ducks!!

The Week of September 18th....

 Daily Events:

Student of the Week:  Bo (bring in pictures)

Friday’s Memory:  Strive for peace with everyone.  Hebrews 12:14

Monday:  Gym.  We will learn what happens when we kick a soccer ball.  

Tuesday:  Technology.  We will learn about pushing and pulling a wagon.  We will see what happens when we put the children in the wagon.     

Wednesday:   Chapel.  We will see if the wagon is heavy, if it is easier to push or pull. We will do the same with our shaping cart too.

 

Thursday:  Art.  I will send home the book:  “School” to practice with your child tonight.  We will go outside to learn how to stop a soccer ball and a thrown ball.  

Friday:  Memory.  Gym.  Scholastic News.  The children will read the book, “School” to me!  

The Week of September 11th.....

 Student of the Week:  Beckem

Friday’s Memory:  I trust in you, O Lord.  Psalm 31:14

Monday:  Gym.  We will learn what happens when we push people on swings.  They will learn the opposite words.  .  

Tuesday:  Technology.  We will learn about direction and speed today.   

Wednesday:   Chapel.  We will go outside and practice our speed and directions today.   

Thursday:  Art.  I will send home the book:  “The Lunch” to practice with your child tonight.  Please return the book tomorrow morning with a parent's signature to let me know you practiced it with your child.   They will read it to me tomorrow!  We will try and see a spider web on a walk and see which way the spider made his web.  

Friday:  Memory.  Gym.  Scholastic News.  The children will read the book, “The Lunch” to me!

The Week of September 5th...

 

Student of the Week:  Abel  (He will be the first two weeks because they are short weeks)

Friday’s Memory:  Forgive us our sins.  Luke 11:4

Monday:  No school-Labor Day Weekend. .

Tuesday:  Technology.  We will start math and reading.  In math, Kindergarten will start with learning shapes, Young 5’s will be doing grouping.  In reading some will learn the letters and some will be reading books.  

Wednesday:   Chapel.  We will start Social Studies today.  We will concentrate on our families this week.  

Thursday:  Art.  I will send home the book:  “A Farm” to practice with your child tonight.  Please return the book tomorrow morning with a parent's signature to let me know you practiced it with your child.   They will read it to me tomorrow!

Friday:  Memory.  Gym.  Scholastic News.  The children will read the book, “A Farm” to me!  

The Week of August 29th....

Thursday’s Memory:  Rejoice in the Lord always, again I say rejoice!  Philippians 4:4

Monday:  No school.

Tuesday:  Happy Birthday Roy!  Chapel.  We will start learning the classroom rules, school rules, and playground rules.  We will tour the building, and see where we go for different drills.  We dismiss at 11:30 and there is a Parent Orientation right after school.

Wednesday:  We are celebrating Evan’s August Birthday today!  We will go over where things are in the school, have our first lunch here at school, and evaluate the students today.  We will make pet rocks today.  Parent Orientation at 6pm.

Thursday:  Memory.(see above)  We will paint paper rocks for our bulletin board in the classroom.  

Friday:  No School-Labor Day Weekend.
