Holiday Homestead
Here are some pictures from the field trip on Tuesday. Thank you to Mrs. Panzner, Mrs. Jiminez, and Mr. Rechsteiner for driving for us!!
The Week of December 16th
Wednesday’s Memory: Come see the baby lying in the manger, Humble He lies in the cattle stall.
Friday’s Memory: One day this baby boy will be exalted, Our risen Savior, the Lord of all
Monday: Drop off your child at church in the morning. Music with Miss Abraham. Letter B Beginning: ball, balloon, banana, bandage, basket, bat, bear, bad, bell, belt, bib, blanket, block, boat, bone, book, boot, bottle, bow, bowl, bracelet, brush, bucket, butterfly. We will make our presents and wrap them for our parents.
Tuesday: Drop off your child at church in the morning. Gym: we will play with the scooters. Letter B ending: cab, tub, bib, club, tab, rib, web, scrub, robe, bulb, crib, cab, cube, tube. We will make a candy cane ornament.
Wednesday: Memory. Spanish. Computers. Letter C Beginning: cake, camera, can, candle, canoe, car, card, carpet square, carrot, chalk, clock, clothespin, clown, coat, comb, cookies, corn, cotton, cowboy hat, crayon, crown. We will make Reindeer for our scrapbooks. The children will need to be at the church and in the pew with me by 6:20. Please have the children dress nicely!
Thursday: Chapel. Library. Art with Mr. M. We will make star ornaments. We will be going caroling at the Bay City Mall and Sheffield Place. We will also drop off our toys for Toys for Tots too!
Friday: Memory. Spanish. We will read “Tim in Sand” book to Mr. Garcia’s class. We will start our Christmas party at 1:00 with an angel ornament making.

The Week of December 9th
Wednesday’s Memory: Come see the baby lying in the manger, Child of Mary, yet Son of God
Friday’s Memory: He’ll live the perfect life that we cannot live. And He’ll die for us on the cross
Monday: Music with Miss Abraham. Short I Beginning: igloo, iguana, inchworm, Indian, infant, ink, insects. We will learn about Germany’s custom of the Christmas tree. We will make one out of our hands.
Tuesday: Gym we will play with the scooters. Short I anywhere: sifter, tin, nickel, bill, ship, hip, swim, hill, lip, chin, fin, lint, inch, insect, ink. We will learn about Ireland and England custom of balls and holly around doorways. We will leave for our field trip at 12:15. Please dress for the weather as we walk between the homestead and school and also spend about 15 minutes outside in the barn.
Wednesday: Memory. Spanish. Computers. We will learn about Greece and putting stockings up for Santa to fill. We will paint stockings that Mr. Hutter cut out for us!
Thursday: Chapel. Library. Art with Mr. M. We will learn that the French like to make gingerbread cookies. We will paint some that Mr. Hutter cut out for us and maybe make some to eat.
Friday: Memory. Spanish. We will read “Nan and Lad” book to Mr. Garcia’s class. We will learn about Ireland and England custom of balls and holly around doorways.
