The Week of January 2nd


1/3 Snack Week:  Liam

Wednesday’s Memory:  For unto you, is born this day…A Savior, who is Christ the Lord.  Luke 2:11

Friday’s Memory:  Oh give thanks to the Lord for He is good. Psalm 107:1

Monday:  No school!
Tuesday:   Gym.  Computers.  Library.   We will learn about snowflakes and the different forms of water. 
Wednesday:  Memory.  Computers.  Spanish. We will learn why we have to dress warm when we go outside. We will draw ourselves with hats and mittens.
Thursday: Chapel.  Gym.  Art.  We will make CD snowman.  We will go outside and paint snow  (if there is snow). 
Friday:  Memory.  Spanish. Art.  We will read “Tim in Sand” book to Mr. Garcia’s class.  We will read the “Mitten”  and make the story. 

The Week of December 18


12/19 Snack Week:  Miss Stanley

Wednesday’s Memory:  Did you know, did you know it was God’s own Son the salvation of the world begun?

Monday:   Drop off at church.  Music.  We will make candy cane ornaments. 

Tuesday:  Gym.  Computers.  Library.  We will make trees with our hands for their scrapbooks.

Wednesday:  Drop off at church.  Christmas Party at 1:15!  After you drop your child off at church please bring their things for the party over here or bring on Tuesday.  Be at church by 6:20!  Please have the children dress up for the service, no jeans!

The Week of December 11th

Wednesday’s Memory:  Did you hear how the choirs of angels sang at the glory of the sight?

Friday’s Memory:  Did you hear how the bells of Heaven rang all through the night?
 
Monday:  Drop off your child at church in the morning.  Music.  We will leave for our field trip at 12:15! 
Tuesday:   Gym.  Computers. Library.  Math Test over numbers 6-10.  We will learn about India’s tradition of giving candy to each other.  We will make paper peppermints and have one too!
Wednesday:  Memory. Computers.  Spanish.  AIMS testing.  We will learn about St. Lucia Day from Sweden. We will make wreaths.   
Thursday: Chapel, we will be doing it.   Gym.  Art.  Test over letters and sounds.  We will wrap our parent’s gifts today and make cards. 
Friday:  Drop off your child at church in the morning.  Memory. Spanish.  Art.  Test over words so far.

Monday:  Drop off students at church!   Music.  Letter L Ending: spool, tool, stool, rule, pail, handle, ladle, saddle, small, little, pool, turtle, fall, wall, ball.  We will learn about Mexico and the poinsettia.  We will make a poinsettia today. 
 
Tuesday:   Gym.  Computers.  Library.   We will learn about England and how they put balls and holly around their doors. 
Wednesday:  Memory.   Computers.  Spanish.  Short I Beginning:  igloo, iguana, inchworm, Indian, infant, ink, insects.  We will learn that in Ukraine it is considered good luck to find a spider web in your house on Christmas.  We will make a spider web and put a spider in it!
Thursday: Chapel. Gym.  Art.   Short I anywhere:  sifter, tin, nickel, bill, ship, hip, swim, hill, lip, chin, fin, lint, inch, insect, ink.  We will learn that the people in Denmark like to make spice cookies.  We will make gingerbread ornaments. 
Friday:  Drop off students at church! Spanish.  Art. Memory.  We will read “A Hat” book to Mr. Garcia’s class.  We will learn that it is believed that the German’s started the Christmas tree tradition, so we will be making a Christmas tree!
