The Week of October 2nd.....
Student of the Week: Cooper (he will be for two weeks because of the short week)
Friday’s Memory: THe Lord will keep you from all evil. Psalm 121:7
Monday: Gym. We will learn about forward and backwards, up and down with pushing and pulling with cars.
Tuesday: Technology. We will learn what happens when we bump things. We will set up dominoes to see what happens when we bump it.
Wednesday: Chapel. I will send home the book: “The Zoo” to practice with your child tonight. We will use a bowling ball and pins to see what happens when we push the ball into them. .
Thursday: Memory. Please send back “The Zoo”. School dismisses at 11:30 for parent teacher conferences.
Friday: NO SCHOOL parent teacher conferences!

The Week of September 25th....
Student of the Week: Calvin
Friday’s Memory: I am with you…wherever you go. Genesis 28:15
Monday: Gym. We will learn what we do if our clothes catch on fire. We will make paper shirts with “Stop, Drop, and Roll” on them.
Tuesday: Technology. We will learn what different clothes firemen wear to protect themselves. We will make a paper doll for our scrapbooks.
Wednesday: Chapel. Fire Safety Sheets due today! We will learn our two ways to get out of the classroom. We will practice going out our classroom window.
Thursday: Art. I will send home the book: “Go Play” to practice with your child tonight. We will talk about safety in the kitchen. Scholastic News about fire safety.
Friday: Memory. Gym. Frankenlust Fire House Field Trip at 9:50. The children will read the book, “Go Play” to me!

Monday: Gym. We will learn what happens when we kick a soccer ball.
Tuesday: Technology. We will learn about pushing and pulling a wagon. We will see what happens when we put the children in the wagon.
Wednesday: Chapel. We will see if the wagon is heavy, if it is easier to push or pull. We will do the same with our shaping cart too.
Thursday: Art. I will send home the book: “School” to practice with your child tonight. We will go outside to learn how to stop a soccer ball and a thrown ball.
Friday: Memory. Gym. Scholastic News. The children will read the book, “School” to me!

Student of the Week: Beckem

Monday: Gym. We will learn what happens when we push people on swings. They will learn the opposite words. .
Tuesday: Technology. We will learn about direction and speed today.
Wednesday: Chapel. We will go outside and practice our speed and directions today.
Thursday: Art. I will send home the book: “The Lunch” to practice with your child tonight. Please return the book tomorrow morning with a parent's signature to let me know you practiced it with your child. They will read it to me tomorrow! We will try and see a spider web on a walk and see which way the spider made his web.
Friday: Memory. Gym. Scholastic News. The children will read the book, “The Lunch” to me!
