The Week of January 7th

Monday: Chapel. Letter R Beginning: rabbit,
radio, raft, rag, raincoat, rainbow, raisins, rake, rattle, reindeer, ribbon,
ring, robot, rock, rocket, roller skates, rolling pin, rooster, rope, rug,
ruler. We will make a disk snowman.
Tuesday:
Gym. Computers. Library.
Letter R Ending: ruler, flower, flour, sugar, river, stirrer,
reindeer, deer, water, car, jar, pear, bear, chair, hair. We will learn about snowflakes and the
different forms of water.
Wednesday:
Memory. Computers. Spanish. Letter G Beginning: garden, gate, giraffe, glass, globe, glove,
glue, goggles, golf ball, goose, gorilla, gourd, grapes, grass. We will make a spool snowman.
Thursday:
Gym.
Art.
Letter G Ending: bag, fig, keg,
peg, log, dog, pig, hog, leg, bug, mug, hug, rug. We will paint a snowman on black paper. We will go outside and paint snow (if there is snow).
Friday:
Memory.
Spanish. Art. We will read “Tim in Sand” book to Mr.
Garcia’s class. We will read the
“Mitten” and make the story.
The Week of January 3rd
Friday’s Memory: For

Thursday:
Gym. Art. Short O Beginning: octopus, olives, onion,
ostrich, otter, oven, owl, ox, October, opera, off. We
will learn about how to dress in the winter.
We will make a picture of us in mittens and hats having a snowball
fight.
Friday: Spanish.
Art. Short O Anywhere: short sound anywhere: cob, pot, monster,
doll, brown, otter, olives, dock, top, fox, sock, box, mop, octopus, pod. We will learn the forms of water. We will make snowmen.
