Snack Week: Colton’s

Wednesday’s Memory:  How great is the love the Father has lavished on us, that we should be called the children of God!

Friday’s Memory:  And that is what we are!  The reason the world does not know us is that it did not know Him.  1 John 3:1

Monday:  Dress up in your favorite Dr. Seuss character.  We will learn about what is in the vegetable group.  We will draw our favorite vegetable.

Tuesday:   Gym.  Computers.  Library.   We will taste the vegetable you bring in!

Wednesday: Memory.  Spanish.  Chapel at Valley Lutheran.  We will learn about the fruit group!  

Thursday: Chapel. Memory.  Gym.  Art.  AIMS Testing.  We will learn about good snacks and review our food groups with a game!  We will taste the fruit you bring in!

Friday:   Spanish.  Art.   Bring in your favorite grain!  We will read “Kim and Sam” today.  

The Week of February 24th

Snack Week:  Charlie’s

Monday:  Chapel.   We will learn that we live in Michigan which is part of the Earth.  We are talking about us being a small spot in the universe! 

Tuesday: Gym.  Computers.   Q Beginning:  quail, Quaker Oats box, quarter, queen, question mark, quill, quilt, Q-Tips.  Field Trip to Delta’s Planetarium. 

Wednesday:  Memory.  Computers.  Spanish.  We will make rockets today out of paper towel tubes. 

Thursday: Chapel. Gym.  Art.  Letter Y Beginning:  yacht, yak, yam, yardstick, yarn, yogurt, yo-yo.  We will learn about space shuttles.  We will learn that the space shuttles have all been retired and are now being used as museums.  We will learn how people travel in space and launch some rockets in the gym. Parent Teacher Conferences after school. 

Friday:  ½ Day of School.  We will read the “Liz and Tad” book. Parent Teacher Conferences.

Monday:  We will start a book the Milky Way.         

   

Tuesday:   Gym.  Computers.  Library.   Letter K Beginning:  kaleidoscope, kangaroo, ketchup, kettle, key, kimono, king, kitchen, kite, kitten, kiwi fruit, koala.  We will learn about the Sun.  It is the closest star to us. 

Wednesday:  Memory.  Computers.  Spanish.  Letter K Ending: rack, kayak, bike, tack, sack, wick, pack, rack, silk, bank.  We will learn about the planets.

Thursday: Chapel. Gym.  Art.   We will learn about Earth and add it to our books.  We will watch a movie about the planets.

Friday:  Spanish.  Art. Short E Beginning:  egg, egg beater, elephant, elevator, elf, engine, envelope, elephant, elevator, elf, engine, envelope.  We will read “Bud and Max” book.  We will talk about the moon and add it to our book.
