Zoom Meetings

I was wondering if you had a day that we could Zoom with the class or parts of it.  I would like to do this weekly.  Leave a day that doesn’t work below.  I was thinking about 10:15 after I read the story on FaceBook.

Leave me a comment below or message me on my phone.  I was thinking of grouping them so I can instruct them a little too!

I know Brynlee would have a harder time on Tuesday.

Spring Break

Hope you are all having a great spring break.  I have been busy working on stuff for you.  I will hopefully get to drop off the things I have made and and gotten together for you for Easter and your school work.

I am missing everyone a lot!

Easter Egg Hunt/Party

We are cancelling the Easter Egg Hunt/Party.  I will be putting some Easter packets together next week!

I hope you all washing your hands and are staying healthy!  I miss you all very much!

I have worked very hard on some kindergarten and young 5’s lessons on Nearpod.com.   I did get my lessons mislabeled.   From now on I will send both codes for the lessons, so your child can work on remediation or more challenging lessons.   The codes are

I have been learning a new way to teach my classroom children.  It is called Nearpod.  Hopefully tomorrow I will be able to have some lessons uploaded.   I have been working on the slides and editing the lessons.

Room is clean!

Yesterday Miss B and myself spent 5 hours cleaning all the toys and bins in the classroom.  All toys were run through the dishwasher and sanitized.  We also used Clorox cloths on their boxes.   Mr. Garcia did their locker handles and I did doors inside and out.

Idea for school learning time

The Week of March 16th to April 3rd

I am sending home their class work for the next two weeks.  (it should be all review)

Math:

There is a math sheet for each day.

Practice skip counting by 2’s -2, 4, 6, 8, 10, 12, 14, 16, 18, 20

Practice skip counting by 5’s – 5, 10, 15, 20, 25, 30, 35, 40, 45, 50

Reading: 

Go over sight words daily, please.   I included a sheet in their folders. 

Read books from the boxes.  Especially the ones that say “Please Practice.” 

Handwriting:

 Then Monday, Wednesday, Friday there is a handwriting sheet for the children to practice.

Now the Easter Party will be on Maundy Thursday.  When we return, please have the candy for the Easter Egg Hunt.  I will be filling the eggs at home.  We will do Easter activities when we return. 

We have cancelled the field trip.

The Week of March 9th

Monday:  Chapel.  We will learn about what is in the grain group.  We will draw our favorite grain.

Tuesday:   Gym.  Computers.  Library.   We will taste the dairy item you bring in!

Wednesday: Memory.  Spanish.  We will learn about the protein group!   We will taste the protein group you bring in!

Thursday: Chapel. Memory.  Gym.  Art.  We will learn about good snacks and review our food groups with a game! 

Friday:   Spanish.  Art.   Operetta 1:30 and 6:30.  We will read “Quin and the Jets” today.  We will organize our kitchen with the food and put them into the food groups as a review.
