Student of the Week:  Roman

Friday’s Memory:  Spiritual gifts are given to each of us so we can help each other.

Monday:  Gym.  We will learn about rockets.  We will make one and blast it off.  I will also bring an air rocket for them to try.  

Tuesday:  Computers.  Library.    We will blast off today.  

Wednesday:  Chapel.  Science Fair with Spaghetti dinner in the gym from 4-6:30.  We will watch the movie “Magic School Bus Lost in Space.”

Thursday:   Art.  We will read a Scholastic News on space.  

Friday:  Memory.  Gym.  Space Dress up day!  Please send back the “A Nut Pile” books so we can read them to me.  Scholastic News. 

The Week of March 13th....

 Student of the Week:  Piper

Friday’s Memory:  Remember the Sabbath Day by keeping it holy!  Exodus 20:8

Monday:  Gym.  We will learn about stars.  They give off light and heat!  Ask your child what color is the coldest star and what color is the hottest star.

Tuesday:   Computers.  Library.  We will learn about our closest star!   

Wednesday:  Chapel.  Please bring a cold lunch to school today!  Please wear clothes according to your child’s wishes for a butterfly to land on them.   Long I beginning:  ice cream container, ice cube tray, ice skates, icicle, iris, iron, ironing board, island, ivory, ivy, Iowa, Irish, item. 

Thursday:  Art. Long I anywhere: fire, nine, bike, mice, vine, title, lion, time, giant, lite, dime, pine, rice, line, hive, wire, lime, dice, slide, slime.  We will learn about the planets. We will watch the Magic School Bus movie on the planets.   

Friday:  Wear your St. Patty’s Day stuff!!   Memory.  Gym.  Please send back the “Mike and Spike” books.  We will learn about the moon and play with moon sand!

Friday’s Memory:  Quietly, wait for the salvation of the Lord!  Lamentations 3:26

Monday:  Gym.  Matching Animals to what they eat.  

Tuesday:   Computers.  Library.   Benchmark testing in reading.  

Wednesday:  Chapel.   Long A Words Beginning:  ace, acorn, airplane, angel, ape, April, apron, arrow.  We will match animals and plants to habitats.  

Thursday:  Art.  Long A Anywhere:  bake, cake, cave, sale, name, grape, tape, grate, wave, table, date, game, cape, label, tail, state, cane, mane.  We will draw our habitat with the plants and animals in each.  

Friday:  Memory.  Gym.  We will practice writing long A and short A words.  Scholastic News.
