The Week of April 8th....

Thursday’s Memory:  This is My blood…poured out for the forgiveness of sins.  Matthew 26:28

Monday:   Gym.  Long O Beginning: ocean, oat, odor, Ohio, oboe.  If it is sunny, we will do the experiment with the water, soil, sand, and rocks in the sun and shade.  We will hypothesize which one will be hottest and which one will be the coolest.   

Tuesday:  Technology.   Long O Anywhere: globe, mole, stone, nose, cone, robe, rose, bone, wrote, rope, dome, tote, poem, stove.  We will learn about how hot the sun is and where it is hotter on the Earth.  

Wednesday:  Chapel.  We will make long and short vowel words on our boards. We will find out how we can stay cooler in the sun.  

Thursday:  Art.  We will make a shelter from the sun for our pet.       

Friday:  Gym.  Scholastic News today.   

The Week of March 25th...

Thursday’s Memory:  This is My beloved Son, listen to Him.  Mark 9:7

Monday:   Gym.  We will learn about when Peter Denies knowing Jesus and how Peter felt after he did that.   

Tuesday:  Technology.    We will learn that Jesus was nailed to the cross and laid in the tomb!  

Wednesday:  Chapel.  We will benchmark the children in reading today and finish it up on Thursday.  We will learn about the Angel in the tomb, and Jesus being alive!  

Thursday:  Art.  Please return the “Mike and Spike” books today.  Easter Party.  We will begin at 1:30.  I need a couple of parents to hide the eggs.  Please let me know if you can help at 1:15.     

Friday:  No School.  Good Friday.

The Week of March 18th....

 Friday’s Memory:  This is My beloved Son, listen to Him.  Mark 9:7

Monday:   Gym.  We will learn about what happens on Palm Sunday and what happened on Tuesday.  God gives the greatest commandment, “Love your neighbor as yourself!”  All week we will be learning about long and short A and I words.  

Tuesday:  Technology.  We will learn what happens on Wednesday with Judas, and the start of Maundy Thursday.   

Wednesday:  Chapel.  We will continue with the first Lord’s Supper Jesus washing the feet.  

Thursday:  Art.    We will learn what happens to Jesus in the Garden of Gethsemane.  

Friday:  Memory.  Gym.  Wear your favorite hat today!  Please return the book, “Jake Plants Grapes.”  Scholastic News.

Monday:   Gym.  We will learn that weather can change from day to day.  

Tuesday:  Technology.  We will use words to describe our weather and how we dress for the weather.  

Wednesday:  Chapel. Dress in sweat pants today and t-shirts with maybe a sweatshirt over.  Long A Beginning:  ace, acorn, airplane, angel, ape, April, apron, arrow.  Field Trip to Showtime Gymnastics.

Thursday:  Art.   Long A Anywhere:  bake, cake, cave, sale, name, grape, tape, grate, wave, table, date, game, cape, label, tail, state, cane, mane.  We will learn why the weather changes.  .  

Friday:  Memory.  Gym. Comfy Day Dress Day.  I will not be here today, Mrs. Buchinger will be subbing for me.  Scholastic News.
