The Week of April 29th.....

Thursday’s Memory:  “I am with you always, to the end of the age.” Matthew 28:20

Monday:   Gym.  Long E Beginning:  eagle, ear, earmuffs, earphones, earring, elastic, eraser, electric guitar, eel, east, eleven.   We will learn about holidays that Americans celebrate.   

Tuesday:  Technology.  Long E anywhere:  wheel, tea, tee, cheese, bee, tree, sea, queen, seeds, beet, feet, wheat, leaf, beads, seal, peach, beans, meat, key.  PTO Meeting at 6:00 with pizza!  We will learn about great leaders.  

Wednesday:  Chapel.  Happy Birthday Emerson!   We will leave for our field trip at 12:30.  Please be here by 12:25 to get the stickers in the office!   Thank you!

Thursday:  Art.  We will listen and learn some patriotic songs for music and social studies.  

Friday:  Gym.  Please return, “The Cutest Pet” books.  Scholastic News today.

The Week of April 22nd...

 Student of the Week:  Miss B.

Thursday’s Memory:  “Peace to you!” Luke 24:36

Monday:   Gym.  We will learn about tornadoes and hurricanes.  We will see where they form.   

Tuesday:  Technology.   We will listen to a story about a storm.  

Wednesday:  Chapel.  We will learn how to prepare for different kinds of storms.  We will prepare a kit from things in the room to prepare for a storm. We will practice a tornado drill for our room.  

Thursday:  Art.  We will learn about weather forecasts.  We will watch a weather forecast.   

Friday:  Gym.  Scholastic News today. 

The Week of April 15th....

 Student of the Week:  Miss B.

Thursday’s Memory:  “Watch and pray.”  Matthew 26:41

Monday:   Gym.  Long U Beginning: Utah, utensil, uniform, ukulele, unicorn, unicycle.  We will see how to keep cool in the park.  

Tuesday:  Technology.   Long U Anywhere: mule, music, fuel, cue, cube, fuse, perfume, human, clue, menu, cupid, tune.  We will draw a picture of them staying cool in the park.  

Wednesday:  Chapel.  STORM STORY DUE!! We will draw pictures for our story.  We will make long and short vowel words on our boards.

Thursday:  Art.  Telling about the storms and showing our pictures.       

Friday:  Gym.  Scholastic News today.
