100th Day of School

The week of February 12th

Snack Week: Del’s

 

Wednesday’s Memory:  Gather ‘round and listen to a story of a man who stood for what is right

Friday’s Memory:  We will sing to you a tale of God and glory, of danger, adventure and rescue in the night

Monday:  Music.  We will learn about what is in the diary group and taste what you bring in from the dairy group!

Tuesday:   Gym.  Computers.  Library.   We will learn about different kinds of proteins.  We will eat the proteins that we bring in. 

Wednesday: Memory.  Computers.  Jump for Hearts.  Valentines Party!  Building projects due!!

Thursday: Chapel. Memory.  Gym.  Art.  AIMS Testing.  We will learn about good snacks and review our food groups with a game!

Friday:   Spanish.  Art.   We will read the “Liz and Tad” today.  We have a food test today.

Wednesday’s Memory:  We’d like to tear you limb from limb, we’d love to have your bones to crunch

Friday’s Memory:  Why don’t you step into our den and stay for lunch!

 

Monday:  Music.  Short U Anywhere:  nut, sun, duck, bug, mug, slug, pug, rug, hut, mutt, fuzz, Buzz (from Fly Guy).  We will make a food pyramid. 

Tuesday:   Gym.  Computers.  Library.   Letter X Ending:  fox, box, six, mix, ox, box, fox, wax, sax, fax, Nix, tax.  We learn about the grain group. You can bring in something from the grain group and we will try it.

Wednesday: Memory.  Computers.  Spanish.   Letter X Anywhere:  x-ray, xylophone, x’s, fox, box, six, mix, ox, box, fox, wax, sax, fax, Nix, tax.  We learn about the fruit group. You can bring in something from the fruit group and we will try it!

Thursday: Chapel. Gym.  Art.   Letter Z Beginning:  zambonie, zebra, zero, zinnia, Zip Code, zipper, zither, zoo, zucchini, zwieback.  We will celebrate the 100^th Day of School in the afternoon.   

Friday:  Memory.  Spanish.  Art.  Letter Z Ending:  jazz, buzz, fuzz, cuz.  We learn about the vegetable group. You can bring in something from the vegetable group and we will try it!  We will read “Bud and Max” to Mr. Garcia’s class.
