The Week of February 21st.....

Student of the Week:  Laiken (Short Weeks)

Monday:  NO SCHOOL!  Happy President’s Day!    

Tuesday:  Computers.  Library.   Short E Beginning: elbow, egg, elephant, elf, engine, Extra gum, elevator, envelope, Eskimo.      

Wednesday: Chapel.  Short E anywhere:  leg, peg, elbow, ten, left, pen, desk, net, red, nest, bed.  We will learn where plants and animals live.   

Thursday:  Art.   Letter Q Beginning: quail, Quaker Oats Box, quarter, queen, question mark, quill, quilt, Q-tips. We will learn the different things each eat.  We will learn what food chains are.   

Friday:  Memory. Gym.  Scholastic News.  

The Week of February 13th....

Thursday’s Memory:  Nothing can separate us from God’s love.  Romans 8:39

Monday:  Gym. Valentine Faith, Hope, Love Project.  

Tuesday:  Computers.  Library.  Jump for Hearts, and Valentine Party.

Wednesday:  Chapel.   Letter K Beginning: kaleidoscope, kangaroo, ketchup, kettle, key, kimono, king, kitchen, kite, kitten, kiwi(fruit) koala.   Field trip, we will leave at 12:15.  

Thursday:  Memory.  School dismisses at 11:30.  Letter K Ending:  tack, sack, bike, rack, silk, milk, bank, backpack, wick, lick, wink, link, rake.  

Friday:   No School.  Parent/Teacher Conferences.

Wednesday:  Chapel.  NWEA Testing.  We will learn about Abe Lincoln.  

Thursday:  Art.  AIMS Testing.  We will learn about famous places.  

Friday:  Memory.  Gym.  Letter W Beginning: wagon, wallet, wallpaper, walnut, washcloth, wastebasket, watch, watermelon, waxed paper, whale, wheel, whisk broom, windmill, window, wishbone, wood.   Scholastic News.  

The Week of January 30th.....

Monday:  Gym.  Letter X Ending:  fox, box, six, ax, mix,  wax, flax.  We will learn about Martin Luther.    

Tuesday:   BOOK ORDERS DUE!  Computers.  Library.  We will learn about African Americans in the underground railroad.  

Wednesday:  Memory.  Letter Z Beginning:  zipper, zome, zig zag, zero, zamboni, zoo, zebra.   We will learn about how we were separated in schools and bathrooms.     

Thursday:   Art.  100th Day Celebration!  Bring in your 100 things!  

Friday:  Memory.  Gym.  We will read “Bud and Max” book to me.  Scholastic News.  Bring your Valentine boxes back today!
