Lutheran School's Week Dress up and Activities

We have a fun week planned! Here are dress up days, special activities, and special events. Our theme for this year is Live by Faith. Check out the last page of this for an at- home activity. We are also collecting items for Beacon of Hope Pregnancy Care Center. Please check what to bring in each day. Have a fun week!! Sunday K-8 students will sing in both services. They will sing towards to end of the early service and the beginning of the late service. Plan to attend and take advantage of Sunday School in between! Monday Sports Day – Represent your favorite team Special Event: Staff/7-8 Grade Volleyball Game – 2:15pm Take-Home Activity: See attached sheet Items to bring in: Toiletries, such as baby wipes, powder, shampoo, lotion, diaper rash cream, and ESPECIALLY baby wash Tuesday Book Character Day – Dress like your favorite book character Special Event: D.E.A.R (Drop Everything And Read) Items to bring in: bibs, burp cloths, nursing pads, blankets (crib and receiving) Wednesday Comfy Cozy Day – pajamas, sweat pants, slippers, or anything comfortable Special Friends Activity: Making cards Items to bring in: diapers, ESPECIALLY newborn Thursday Spirit Day – Show your St. Paul pride! Special Event: VLHS for chapel with other area Lutheran schools Items to bring in: bottles, nail clippers, combs, brushes, thermometers Friday Letter Day – dress like something that starts with your letter or represents your letter Kindergarten – S, First – V, Second – L, Third – Z, Fourth – R, Fifth – M, Sixth – A, Seventh – P, Eighth – Y, Staff - U Special Event: watch a movie in the afternoon Items to bring in: baby clothes to size 2T, maternity clothes, bassinet and crib sheets
