The Week of March 17th

We will make long and short A words in reading. We will learn the parts of the insect. Tuesday: Gym: we will learning to dribble a basketball. We will learn about the phases of a butterfly and make a butterfly today. Wednesday: Memory. Spanish. Computers. Long I beginning: ice cream container, ice cube tray, ice skates, icicle, iris, iron, ironing board, island, ivy. We will learn about bumble bees and make them. Thursday: Library. Art. Long I anywhere: bike, kite, fire, fire fighter, nine, pine, write, mice, vine, title, dime, lime, light, giant, lion. We will be making lady bugs today. Friday: Memory. Spanish. Please send back the “Mike and Spike” books so we can read them to the 5th and 6th graders. Test over insects. We will be watching a “Magic School Bus” movie on ants.
