The Week of December 7th

Student of the Week:  Lennon

Wednesday’s Memory:  Every child is known by his doings.  Proverbs 20:11

Friday’s Memory:   Forgive and you will be forgiven.  Luke 6:37

Monday:  We will add lambs for the Jesus Tree and sew them.  The shepherds left their sheep to and see the new baby Jesus!

Tuesday:   Gym.  Computers.  We will add candy canes for the Jesus Tree and make them.  We may even eat one! Candy canes look like a shepherd’s staff.  The Bible tells us that Jesus is our Good Shepherd and that we are his lambs.  He takes good care of us!

Wednesday:  Memory. Computers.  We will be making bells today for the Jesus tree.  These make beautiful sounds.  People make happy sounds when they sing songs to Jesus!  Today, the children will be taping their Christmas parts and song for the Christmas service.  Please dress up for this in nice Christmas clothes like you would if we were preforming it live. You can send clothes with the children and they can change afterwards.

Thursday: Gym.  Art. Letter B Beginning:  ball, balloon, banana, bandage, basket, bat, bear, bad, bell, belt, bib, blanket, block, boat, bone, book, boot, bottle, bow, bowl, bracelet, brush, bucket, butterfly.  We will make colorful ornaments for the Jesus Tree.  This reminds us that Jesus colored the world with many different colors.

Friday:  Memory.  Art.  Christmas Pajama Dress day!  Shopping at the Jolly Christmas Store.   Letter B Ending:  cab, tub, bib, club, tab, rib, web, scrub, robe, bulb, crib, cab, cube, tube.  Please return the books, “A Hat”.  They will be reading them to me!  All the colors of the tree remind us God created the world beautiful, by creating people with different skin color.  We will make gingerbread ornaments for this one.

Have a blessed week!
