Monday:  Chapel. Short U Beginning:  umpire, uncle, underwear.  We will learn about George Washington Carver.  We will make a peanut hat and eat peanut butter!

Tuesday:   Gym.  Computers.  Short U Anywhere:  nut, sun, duck, bug, mug, slug, pug, rug, hut, mutt, fuzz.  We will learn about Alma Thomas.  She was a famous mosaic artist.  We will make a mosaic.

Wednesday:  Memory.  Computers.  Letter X Ending:  fox, box, six, mix, ox, box, fox, wax, sax, fax, Nix, tax.  We will learn about James Johnson.  He was a director of a children’s African choir.  We will make an African necklace.      

Thursday: Gym.  Library.  We learn about Louis Armstrong.  We will make a trumpet.     

Friday:  Art. Letter Z Beginning: zambonie, zebra, zero, zinnia, Zip Code, zipper, zither, zoo, zucchini, zwieback.  We will learn about Rosa Parks.  We will color a bus today.
